all i have to say is that if you are debating on getting spintech prostreets i would just go ahead and get them. it sounds exactly the same at idle as my one chambers did but has an awesome smooth roar to it. i will never use another muffler on a mustang. ive got the tail pipes on it for now and i cant decide if i want to keep them or take them off and go with dumps. oh well, sounds awesome to me. i might be able to get a sound clip this weekend, but i cant make any promises.

when i switched i had 2 chambers.......it is like night and day comparing the tone of these two things......its really the best of both worlds.....lose to the flowmaster drone but get shreking music to the ears when you get on it.....just make sure there are no cops within a mile radius......with that said i have a cam and alot of other things done and mine are dumped......i love em, ill never put another set of flowmasters on a fox again! But each his own some people prob thing prostreets suck, but i think if you like 2 chambers you will like the spintechs......and compared to one chambers someone might agree with me that they do not have just the "loudness" but i nice tone to them while still being extremely loud.

Man ... I keep seeing these posts on Spintechs and I keep wishing I hadn't gone with Dynomaxes. :( I went for quieter, hoping to please my neighbors, but two or three dudes in the 'hood now have hideous-loud pickups and Harleys that they run at all hours of the day/night, so I'm thinking about swapping the Super Turbos out for some Prostreets.

Not to hijack, but does anyone know if Spintechs sound equally good with tailpipes, or just with dumps? Never heard anyone post about sound on 'em with full exhaust in place, nor many comments about if the drone with tailpipes...

I think just about everyone who bought dynomax wished they had not.

I am tempted to try out some spintechs but i wouldnt want to spend all this money to have the sound of "cherrybomb" glass packs.

"they sound amazing" is not enough to convince me at this point.:p

No way that Spintechs will sound anything like Cherry Bombs, that's for sure. I would've probably given them more consideration at the time I re-did my exhaust, but there were hardly any posts giving details about them beyond "Yeah, they rock!" and a couple of sound clips. Saw the price on the manufacturer site, figured 'em to be too expensive, and didn't want to risk getting droney mufflers (a-la the Mac or whatever X-brand square-bodied chambered muffs that came on my car).

Now that I see they cost the same as most others (when you get 'em from the right place), and there doesn't appear to be a drone issue ... hmmm ... I still have a few bucks left from my tax refund to throw around... :D

sorry for taking so long. 25th, i ordered mine directly from spintech for like $170 shipped if i remember correctly. wasnt the fastest shipping ever but i wasnt in a rush. i think they sound great on my car with tails. i was going to dump them but decided id rather keep my hearing for now. maybe when its not a daily driver though

Well I think Im getting them off Ebay, and will do something with flow tubes to make them work. I also have extra 2.5 tails to use (have NO idea where they came from) so noo issue there. I might even be able to make some of my money back selling my Mac catback.
