Any one using Nitto NT555R tires?

It all depends on how hard you beat on them. Hard acceleration, cornering, and especially burnouts significantly decrease tire life. That said, with many burnouts and a lot of hard acceleration my Nittos lasted 9-10k miles. They also cornered much better than my BFG DRs.

yea they last me about 7k miles and i put them through hell...like track use once a month and i run like 5 times on them...5 runs equals 5 burnouts...the more they wear the better they hook...for me at least...and i have tried them without ever going to a track b4 as well...got about 17k miles out of them(when i first bought them before he stroker motor!)...i paid about 130 for each one and they are well worth it...hold decent in the rain...compared to the mt streets i had those to...wet road = no no for mt's.....ill never buy another rear tire..and im running the 555 in the front...not the r's the regular 555.....awesome tire as well....has about 18k on then and they look new....

Whats better these or the mt et streets?
That depends on how you look at it. BFG and MT are gonna hook better on and off the track. However, they both will suck in the rain and mileage will suck. They cost a bit more than the Nitto's as well.

I have Nittos drag and MT drag radials. The nittos are a good tire perfect if you want a tire that can hook abit and if you get caught in the rain you wont die. The M/T's, I dont have them mounted yet but they are no joke tires. I have been told they hook like hell and wear like hell but if you have alot of power might as well put it to the ground?

For a street tire, it's not a bad tire. I still light em up every once in a while until 3rd gear.

But I have no experience with letting some air pressure out, doing a burn out and trying to hook then. If I punch it in 1st gear, it'll hold until boost kicks in, and usually holds under boost in 2nd gear, but every once in a while will kick out on me.

Anything under 400rwhp and this will be a good tire for you.

Those Nittos suck in the dry much less the rain, I REALLY wish I had bought ET Streets, they came out right after I bought my set of Nittos.. the tread only lasts if they hook, which they don't, and you tend to burnout everywhere.

POS in my opinion.

I have the m/t et drag radails and i would definitly buy them again. I have friends that sold there other drag radails to buy the m/t et radails. If you wont the best you buy the best
