So what do you get for MPG?

Just made a 700 mile trip to dallas from Little Rock. Topped off with 13.2 gallons of 93 when the LOW FUEL light came on. Made it 340 miles before it came on again This was 99% highway too, driving about 2800-2900 rpms the first 150 miles and then 2300-2400 rpms the rest of the way until the light came back on.

340/13.2 = 25.75 mpg, all highway with 4.10s.

Now, its not an exact # because theres no way of telling exactly how much fuel I used. I just went from LOW FUEL light to the next LOW FUEL light, and there was still a good 20-30 miles left if I wanted to risk it.

Damn you, helty...when you come to Dallas again, let me know. I wanna meet up with some Mustang guys! I really want to hear your car in person. Why'd you come to Dallas, anyways? Are you still here? If so, lemme know. I'll meet you for lunch tomorrow downtown at the best burrito place around.

I am really hatin' on you guys with stock gears and still have MTBE at the pumps. Heres my deal:

4.10's
10% Ethanol (its worse than you think!)
9-11 MPG city
14-17 HWY

I had some job training to get done, and I left last night so I could make it back to my classes today. I wouldve met up with you and some other SN'ers, but honestly I didnt have much free time at all. I stayed out around Irving/DFW the whole time. Next time Im out that way I'll let you know

With 3.73, cams, headers, etc. I could still get a little over 20mpg on the highway in my '03. Typically, it was more like 16-18mpg.

stock engine, gears, exhaust, intake. 275/35R18 tires. I average around 20mpg, with a combination of city, highway, and a 40 minute commute of stop and go < 15 mph.
