Hey everyone-

After going to the last show, Im thinking about changing my wheels as there seems to be alot of people with the wheels I have now-

Here is a pic of my car-

I was going to attach a pic but it didnt work-

Should I -

Leave the car the way it is- (Bullitt wheels with spinners)

Boyd Cottington Junk Yard Dogs ( I will go 18s in back, 17s in front)

Billet Specialties SLX45 Fast Forward (would also go 18s in back, 17s in front)

I need a wheel with 6" back spacing due to a custom suspension set up- and these are the ones I could find that I liked- but am open to other suggestions-

wow, when i first saw your car, i said leave them on, but then i looked at the rims and thought about them on ur car (which looks great btw) and i cant decide, thats a really hard decision, at least you know whichever way you go you'll make a good decision lol

Leave it. You have a nice balance of wheel size and sidewall the way it sits. I never did like the wheels on the FFF car. I've never been a chrome guy either. Maybe the JY Dogs in anthracite(sp?) or something like that :) I prefer the way it is now though.

Keep what you've got

And paint the spokes to match the color of the car. Then polish the rims to a mirror finish. Find someone who can make you up some custom "GT" center logo's, instead of the stock Mustang ones. Now you've got something no one else has.
BTW: beautiful car.

The Boyds don't look different enough to warrant replacing the Bullitts. Not only that, I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling from Boyd Coddington, so I'm biased(I've seen more episodes than I care to admit....not much of that drama was scripted).

The others look like they would be more at home on a Yukon or Navigator or something.

I voted you keep what you have.

i agree

Boyd's Wheel division is being bought up by American Racing. Not sure if that helps the warm fuzzy feeling.

I'm partial to the Junk Yard dogs, as I'm thinking of getting the same ones for our 66 coupe. BUT I don't think they can be had with the 6" backspacing you require!

Maximum backspacing on that wheel is 6 1/8" custom built-

Also to add more fuel into the fire, I work for Magnaflow, and we have a relationship with Boyd, so I get an even better deal on them-

decisions, decisions-

great feed back from everyone though- thanks- keep it coming!

Even though you have a relationship wiuth him, doesnt make him less of an ass, but im sure you wont be paying MSRP for them either. But in a few month, youll be in the same boat looking for another "unique" wheel that nobody has
