Recently installed my MRT 409 stainless steel catback on my car and I must say I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. I used to have flowmaster deltaflow 2-chambers on the stock system, and I loved the sound but wanted a full stainless steel catback and the 3.5" angle cut tips. The exhaust sounds almost exactly like flows at idle but once you get on it a little it sounds like 2-chamber flowmaster mufflers with a slight exotic twist. Think a cross between Borla and Flows with a distinct slant towards the flows and that's what it sounds like. It's awesome. Fitment was fine except it did take me some time to get the tips to sit right. It wasn't a problem if I wanted to have the tips 1-2 inches past the bumper cover but I prefer that the tips rest nearly flush to the bumper (really just a little past the bumper.) I also have MRT's 304 SS catted H pipe. The entire system just rocks. It's a little louder actually than my flows but I'm loving it.

For those interested in this set up, you should know the mufflers are made by a company called IMCO (think they are called the "pro-v") and they are a pretty interesting internal design. All I can say is that the sound is definitely unique and it's pretty much what I was looking/hoping for. Keep in mind though, I love the flowmaster sound!

I'll probably post some sound clips on mustangexhaust.com if anyone is interested.

Here's a link to my soundclip on mustangexhaust.com:

Just scroll down a little and you'll see mine. I have to say it sounds a lot "meaner" when the engine is under a load. It's not the greatest clip but it's not too bad either.

Hey I am not seeing your clip there. For some reason it only shows one 2001 GT and it is not yours. Is it possible you could send me the clip via email? I'll PM my address...
