I have Steeda Sports and SLP LT's.. never really had any problems bottoming out or hitting over speed bumps :nice:

I don't know about you, but my slp lt's are the lowest point under my car slightly past the x and subframes. My car is lowered with eibach pro kit and no problems so far but I am really really careful. Don't tailgate anyone!!! Another thing is it's about where you live, I live in Vermont so the roads are pretty crappy. Regardless they are still worth it, and my shop guy says the slp's hang lower than any other lt's he's seen.

the mac lts are held up pretty tight, the headers only hang down about an inch below my subframe connectors, the cats hang lower than the lts. the pro springs are good for that reason, I like the looks of going lower but you loose a lot of drivability, I only scrape over huge speed bumps.
someone posted that picture and I saved it, I love that butt!! If shallowreefs avatar was bigger I would save it as well!! LOL

These are the SLP's at stock height. I plan on lowering an inch, but you should be fine to an inch and a half. More than that could be trouble.

That was a big ass... more to slap when you hammer it. But back to the topic... I pretty much have resigned myself that I can't do long tubes with my H&R SuperSports... but maybe there are some nice shorties that I can match up to a good catless "H" mid-pipe... ya think? :SNSign:

Those sure do look nice, but man they do hang low. I wouldnt be able to go anywhere if I bought those lol. I have to go SUPER slow as it is over "regular" speedbumps (at like HEB or best buy, ect). If I go over 1MPH my drag suspension dips a hair and it will hit.

Before the LTs and lowering, I went over this one HUGE speed bump, and actuall bottomed the car out LOL and drug the X pipe pretty good (it was as high or higher than the stock H). Again with the STOCK 4X4 suspension  !

Dam. I really haven't hit anything so far with the stock suspension. The thing that sucks more is that my x-pipe actually hangs a little lower than the headers, making the idea of lowering the car an even harder decision to make.

had bbk on my 99 cobra with eibachs and had no problems except over huge speed bumps and steep driveways. this time around going with h&r race springs but have not picked a long tube yet. the bbk's I had were ceramic coated and I had them on for over 2 years before I sold it with no rust at all.

Ive heard nothing but good things about the BBK's and theyd be on my car if it wasn't for the damn install price of like 350 bucks

I have the same problem and was told to stay away from long tubes. It would drop the mid pipe even lower than it is now. Getting over that curb is bad enough as is. Guess I'll get shortys and try those

Reality if thats stock ht, I would lose them long tubes in my car. I'm dropped a lil over 1.5". They'd definetly wind up on the road some place

I have scraped several times pretty badly recently. They are resurfacing the roads all over the place here and manhole covers are sticking up out of the ground like crazy. It really sucks when you are in bumper to bumper traffic and can't see them:mad: :notnice: . At least now i know where they are.
