Hi there Thunder, hey if by any chance you happen to remember who it was on the Mustang Source, who dynoed only with the TB spacer. or if you happen to know of anyone else, see if you can get them to post the results..because if these tb spacers are really capable of adding 11 ft.lbs of torque..I'd be very interested, in getting one myself...Thanks :)

Also what about using it on aftermarket throttle bodies? Because the opening on mine is 62mm, I think when measured the stock ones they are 55mm. So what is the size of the ports on the spacer?

You're friend must be an exception to the rule, because usually its the SCT XCAL II or Diablosport preadator tunes, that get rid of throttle body lag. And if you ask any of the big 3 tuners out there, the only true way to get rid of throttle body lag, is though a tuner/programmer. So I would ask you're friend if he's certain, as to whether it's the TB spacer or the tuner, that's responsible for getting rid of his throttle body lag. because I just cannot see how just a spacer alone, which you can buy through RPM outlet for $85.00 be able to provide 4-5HP. and get rid of throttle body lag. It just doesn't make any logical sense at all..

Odiaz is right!!! I got the throttle body spacer well before my SCT CAl tuner and every other mod I have. In fact, my TBS was the first mod I did, only $80 and it was the best investment mod I ever got. Totally got rid of the throttle lag. it was awesome, I definitely noticed the difference! Although, my car is an automatic and the TBS I believe is more beneficial to those with Auto's than manuals.

Some of the comments in this thread or bullocks!!! like 200 dollars for a TBS, get real.

Oh and yeah I got my from RPM outlet. At the time it was 80 bucks, don't know about it now.

DYNO Sheets PLEASE!

If anyone knows where we can find a dyno sheet to prove/disprove the value of these TB Spacers please let us know. I have been and will continue to look for one myself and share all that I find with all of you. The TRQ that it makes it what is most important to me.
In my 71 Convertible it made a real seat of the pants difference right off of the 900PRM mark! So if this will help us fry some of this new Nero rubber, I say start pricing tires and start launching hard off the line!:Track:

I odered one today(From MMR), it should be here thursday or friday. I will post results. For $60 why not? The bores in the throttle spacer are 62mm and the spaver is 1in thick.

I just added the Jet TB spacer last night...I THINK it feels like it has a little more get up and go down low...but then again that could just be my mind convincing me that I did not waste any money...it took less then 10 minutes to install for those interested. I am interested in the dyno info....

I added mine tonight, the difference between the mmr and the jet spacer is the thickness. Not sure about the bore size. The mmr has 62mm bores. I have not driven the car yet, but I will post. The mmr is 1/2 thick and the jet is 1 inch thick. Everything fit just fine. The jet spacer is 90.00 and the mmr is 60.00. The mmr comes with the bolts and washers, you must remove the lower studs and replace them with the supplied bolts. You must add some silicon to the mmr so that it will seal. The jet comes will gaskets, I think? Mustangsquared did you happen to measure the bore size? Where they larger or the same size as the stock throttle body?

I thought I would get in on this topic.

I've been a member of TMS for quite some time. I was the first person on that forum to test the JET T/B Spacer. And I'm to say it works!! It really does!

Horsepower, couldnt really feel a difference, but torque was a def.! I felt a slight more SOTP feeling. Not only that, my gas mileage greatly increased 3-4MPG and the dreaded Throttle Lag greatly improved! Myself and other TMS members def. noticed the difference and were very impressed.

There was a forum member who did a dyno on the JET and he dyno'd 1 RWHP and 10 RWTQ!

The throttle lag with the installation of this device was practically gone!! I've had it on now for 12,000 miles and I'm still impressed with it!
