Speedo gear

Tried to search but i guess i didnt word corectly.Car used to be aut now a 5 speed.Speedo dosent work.I have the 160 dash(Car is old FBI )and 3:73 gear.What do i need to get this dude to work.As of no it jus sits at zero.?

i think your 89 tranny is a 6 tooth drive tranny the 7 tooth came in later. anyways this link will let you know what tooth speedo gear you need.

Any way to asure its a 6 tooth and not a 7

never mind talk to a freind and he said yellow gear is 7 black is 6 and green is 8.Thats not for the speedo gear but the other.Thanks i need the red 21 tooth. Again thanks man
