Ok...my mods are listed. Give me your best bet on the most cost effective way to reach the magic 300. I can do pretty much any bolt-on myself, so labor shouldn't be an issue. I dynoed 291 rwhp and 311 rwtq. I need 9 more ponies! Thanks in advance.

Damn Mach's make some good power.

You have minimal mods and are putting out more than what my car is rated at the flywheel. Id be lucky to put down 240-245 at the wheels..

But like imblown said intake mods, or Id say some underdrive pulleys. The kind that replace the harmonic balancer, not the piggyback style.

ohhhh not the underdrive pullieesss!!!! ahhhh.
yeh they would PROBABLY get you to 300, buut if you went back to the dyno, it wouldnt surprise me to see 299 with the pullies. haha. the intake mods should take you well over 300

A nice CAI will do it....thats about all you need :D. Im not real sure pullies would get you there...be VERY VERY close. I should have bought a mach...and I could have.

Wanna know what held me back? The one I drove wouldnt turn for crap (huge turning radious), and basically I didnt like it LOL. Loved the power but at that point I was not even thinking of modding whatever I bought. So I wasnt all that worried about it....just wanted a nice DD. But I love my GT, its a nice car. Ill be going 4V later on to keep up haha. Good luck! :nice:

Electric water pump should be good for close to that. There were guys on MD that gained 7-8RWHP when I had my '03 GT back in the day.

That's what I was gonna say, that and a decent CAI should get u there.

Also don't sleep on the PHP intake spacer, that's a relatively cost effective mod, pretty straight forward install as well. Most people on the registry, myself included, swear by them. :nice:
