I know this has surely been asked a bajillion times over, but what the hell ... it's 12:09AM and I'm hitting the rum, so I'll ask it anyway: If you could have any BRAND NEW car in the world as your one and only daily driver, sole form of transportation, what would it be? Specifically. Color, options, and everything. And, most importantly ... WHY?

Mine: Ford Mustang GT Deluxe, manual, silver, Eleanor-style wheels, spoiler delete (is it even an option, anymore?), Shaker 600 stereo option. Of course, at some point I'd have to do something about that ugly-arse steering wheel and shifter knob, and relocate/replace/delete those bug-eye fog lamps, but otherwise I'd keep it all to a minimum and enjoy it as-is.

Reason: Practical, relatively economical (when driven sanely), cheap parts, huge aftermarket already, not as likely to be stolen/vandalized as, say, a Ferrari or a Shelby Mustang Cobra, and ... well, it's the closest thing to a true Eleanor clone one can get right out of the showroom, without all the vices of the real beast (such as tinkering with a carb and fighting 40+ years of rust ... or stalling out in an alley while hiding from cops during a chase... :D ).

Or a sexy TT S7

daggar....not a bad choice. if we are talking brand new cars ill say a tt s7. if we are talking about any car, id find the prototype 67 shelby coupe nicknamed "little red" which was a twin supercharged 428, one of one and was destroyed in the early 80s. the 2 next best cars would be the prototype 68 shelby coupe exp500, aka "green hornet" which still exists, and the 68 shelby goodyear test car "super snake" which turned over 180mph with a 427 and 4 speed. i need a cold shower now
