Regular tokico shocks/struts ok for lowering?

Unless anyone has any experience with that Tokico package that comes with tokico springs on ebay,
I had the Tokico Spring/Shock Handling Kit on my '02 GT for a while. I thought it was a great improvement over stock when I did it, and I had no clearance issues with my wheels and tires (Front: 18x9 w/ 275/35/18 Rear: 18x10.5 w/ 315/30/18). I was also able to align the car without C/C plates (Tom is right though, what he said about all Mustangs needing non-Ford C/C plates)

Of course there are plenty of better and pricier options out there, but I would recommend this kit to one who is looking for an improvement on a budget.

JetBrett,

I'm, pretty much in the same boat as you. I don't want to spend a whole lot, and my mustang is my daily driver, so I don't want to slam it so much that i scrape everywhere. So you're saying the Ford C springs definately gave you a noticable drop from stock and gave it more of a sports car stance than before? QUOTE]

Not sure if this works, but here is the car with the "C" springs and Tokico Blue shocks and struts.

Success! :nice: Ok, here is the car with the Ford Racing C springs and Tokico blue shocks and struts. The rear wheels are 18" with 285/40 tires to fill the rest of the gap and to give it a raked look. Thanks for the help with the attachment issue. :hail2: Photobucket works like a champ. :flag:
