Gave my stang a front end weight reduction and I was impressed at the weight savings.

I installed my napa battery in the rear of the hatch, I installed a flaming river steering linkage for my super comp headers to clear, a tubular front k-member and tubular a-arms, along with a coilover strut setup. Also some Weld skinnies up front..

Here are the weights...

17" wheel with 245 rubber.......... 38lbs
15" weld skinnie with 165 rubber.. 22lbs
stock k-member....................... 44lbs
tubular k-member..................... 19lbs
stock a-arm with spindle ........... 16lbs
tubular a-arm with spindle.......... 11lbs
napa battery in front of car with tray.. 34lbs

Total weight off the front end 101 lbs
34lbs of battery was transfered to the rear of the car.
