Going to the track for the first time tommorow

Play with your air pressure a bit. I would start at 25psi and work your way down.. Don't go below 15psi give or take though. Make sure you do an adequate burnout, 7-10 seconds is what I do, you want to see a bit of smoke but you don't want it to be a pyro technics show... Drive around the burnout box and then back into it. This prevents water from your front tires fowling the line. And don't do what I did the first time. Pay attention to where the cars stage.. My dumb ass kept rolling all the way past and my back tires staged.. I waited there till the track official wrapped on my window and told me to back up... hahahahaha... Don't be too worried about your first times, chances are they're suck... I improved a half a second from my first time. Roll your windows up, turn off your lights if they're on and have a blast...

He's running the street tires not the drag radials. Go around the water box, rev it up, dump the clutch, and do a nice 2 second burnout to clean your tires off. I just ride myn up to the staging lights and go from there.

Be sure to have fun, thats what it's all about. Be ready though, especially when you stage. They drop the lights fast where I run so when you light up the staging lights so be prepared. I personally didn't go for reaction times and I wouldn't really worry about it for your first time, just too much to focus on when your trying to make a good clean pass. I just went on the green, giving me a little more time to be prepared and not worry about redlighting. Just be sure to slip the clutch when you leave instead of dumping it (like I tend to do.) If you dump it you'll spin or bog for sure. As for launching, I launch at about 2g give or take, but you'll have to experiment with your car on your own. Try messing around on the way over and get a good idea where to start. I'd say try about 2-2500rpm. Good luck man!
