rear bumper cutouts!

ive been thinking of getting the stainless steel bumper cutouts like theese

over at mustangtuning.com and was wondering if anybody had painted them a different color??


IE i was thinking about getting some but doing them in red? whats peoples opinons?


btw my brake calipers will also be in red soon so will kinda match!

I've seen some on cars that are red, but they come that way and are a vinyl decal. They look pretty good.

What I think would look cool is they make some black reflective kind, which would match your car, but at night, when headlights shine on the back, they reflect and shimmer. Kinda cool.

I've always had an idea .... Find a bumper at the junkyard or if you can afford another one, buy one. (unless you want to try on your current one, don't recommend). Anyway, my idea was to literally cut out the MUSTANG GT and behind it, put a board (painted white) and on the top and bottom of the board put neon lights (whatever color you like). So while driving around in the daytime, the letters just look white but if you turn the neons on at night the MUSTANG GT would light up and you couldn't see the bulbs. I've had that idea for years ..... Think it would look sick!

Yeah I have red ones, I ordered them from mwspeedshop.com. They are the vinyl kind and you can get them in like any color you want. I would go with the vinyl if I were you not sure how the painted letters would look, and I think I paid like 12 bucks for mine.

+1 I like the reflective. I had them on a red '01. Very nice night effect. I have a black '02 now and have the stainless. Sync up nice with polished/ chrome wheels.

I changed my mind. Look at the Cobra (second pic) on the first page of the Official 4.6 thread. The red on black looks niiiiiice..
