anyone who would actually race for slips has to KNOW that they have the faster car. i would NEVER do anything that stupid. racing for cash however is a different story. its funny how you can convince some people that the whining noise under your hood is a bad power steering pump on a car that has less than 25k on it:nice:

"My car topped out at 140 today, I need NAWZZZZZ....the big bottle.....no wait make that two of them......and Harry, I need them by the "F&F:Tokyo Drift" opening night".

No seriously, I'll probably go park on the hill next to the theater parking lot, just as the movie lets out, so when all the high school kids come running out to their neons and civic, I can sit back and watch the tard carnival that ensues...

im guessing you missed the sarcasm in my last three posts....i know it was filmed in the US, and i know the cars they used werent fast, and i know that lil bow wow snoopy is not a race car driver, and no, im not excited to go see the movie.

:bs: They run 10 second quarter miles, pull 1.0+ Gs, go through the slalom 70 mph+, all while getting 34 mpg.

Dont try to bull**** me

I've seen insane amounts of money being bet on a single race numerous times (King of Street and such in Houston) though the days of racing for "pink slips" has been over for years. No one does that crap anymore :)

Some of the "street racers" in Houston have no problem putting thousands of dollars per race
