Turned out to be a pretty good show. I think they announced a little over 200 cars showed up.

They really need to rethink the classes and where they park people. The few stock fox bodies and Mustang II's had the whole center of the parking lot and it was pretty much empty. The modified classes got put in the way back, in the corner of the lot. There was barely enough room to have chairs set up behind the cars they had us so crammed in there. :notnice:

I ended up getting an award for the top 3 in the '74-93 modified class. My dad got one in the Cobra class for his '93. So that was cool. :nice:

Sorry I didn't get to meet either one of you. I did see the orange Mach but never got a chance to introduce myself.

I did see that there is a cruise night at the Checkers on 54th street put on by the WMMC so I may try to hit that sometime this summer.

As luck would have it, I ended up helping my bro redo his brakes for the most part of saturday, I didnt get up there until around 3 pm, then everyone was leaving.. It did seem a little dis organized, there didnt seem to be any class organization.. They did have some nice cars though.

Is that checkers on division by 54th street?? Or is it on 44th by the freeway?

It was fun. Too bad we didn't meet, but I guess you saw the car. I also got an award too. What color is your dad's 93? Is it the red or teal one?

And you're right, the place is Culver's. I know it's done every second Tuesday, but I lost count whether it's this week or not.
