ANOTHER FUEL PROBLEM !!!!!!!!!!!!

Alrite. A couple of months ago i replaced my fuel pump i put in a walbro 190, just recently i have run into a problem with what feels like a miss. My car would surge stumble, stall, and it feels like it has lost some kick. Today i finally got under the car and replaced the fuel filter, and checked the pressure. When i prime the fuel pump it builds about 10 psi then immediately goes to zero, over and over again. when i start the car the pressure goes to 26 and stays there. when i pull off the vacuum to the FPR the pressure doesnt go up at all!?!?!?! and when i turn off the car the pressure immediatly goes to zero again, there is no gas in the vacuum line and i cant find any gas leaks anywhere... When i pulled codes i got code 41. The cylinder balance test came out fine, WHAT IS GOING ON!!! im about to drop the tank and check to see if anything is clogging up the pump, but that still wouldnt explain the rapid pressure drop, is the FPR bad?? I dont know but i need help!!!!

replace it, it doesn't cost that much. A functioning fuel pressure regulator will hold pressure after prime. and your fuel pressure is low for the car running, moreover, when you disconnect the vacuum line to it, it should go up. sounds to me like the diaphragm is old and doesn't function anymore. When I got my aeromotive regulator, it said that I should expect the pressure to drop when the car shuts off, due to minimal vacuum leaking from the adjuster. replacing the regulator is easy cheese man.

thanks another thing i found is that, soon as i prime the pump it sounds liike gas is being splashed back in the tank, i am convinced that it is the FPR and i will be installing an adjustable one ASAP. thanks and i will post up results when im done Thanks
