Haven't posted much on here, but I've been real busy.
Anyway, just picked up an '04 Mach 1. It doesn't quite have the 5.0's low end, but has great mid and upper rpm power. It's a lot of fun to drive and the shaker's cool too.
The hardest part of coming to the decision to buy it was realizing that I'd have to let go of my '95. It just didn't make sense to have two of the same type of car. I couldn't bring myself to sell it so I'm giving it to my daughter. She's real excited about getting it, plus I'll still get to see, drive and work on it. It's been far and away the most reliable car I've ever seen. With over 191,000 miles on it, hardly anything has ever gone wrong with it. Clutch replacement because of a bad throwout bearing at 125k, new brakes at 150k and a MAF at 100k have been it. Attached a few pics of the Mach.

Congrats on the Mach, 95 GT was a sweet car, my best bud had one with side exhaust, it was so awesome, sorta helped me really get into stangs. But good job on pickin up the Mach, I still get butterflies every time I get behind the wheel. Nice color too, black is a real sleeper color for these cars. BTW 4.10s or 4.30s should fix the lack of low end grunt problem and you're right, midrange is where it really shines. :nice: Also Exhaust/CAI and tune should put u damn near 300rwhp if not more.

Thanks guys. It's such a fun car to drive it'll leave a smile on your face every time, as long as you remember to turn the traction control off! The engine is just soooo smooth. It "feels" more nose heavy than the '95, but has very little body roll.

beautiful car man.. jsut be careful with it.. i reved at a guy with one.. he stared chasing me down jsut mseeing around and lost it in the corner.. hit so hard his right rear axle snapped right behind the wheel speed sensor.. but i guess your probably a better driver.. but beautiful .. im lookin to get one in hte future.. i love them
