tht sucks. maybe its a flooded car?

ask him what happens when he tries to start it. does it crank, make clicking noises, anything?
thats what i thought as soon as i saw its from down south...and the seller is saying F you....sounds like a Flood Car scam!

When this kid gets it together have him check the car out more thoroughly like under the carpet to look for water damage/stains...there were a bunch of new laws created to protect people from those types of scams so if it is indeed a flood car he has legal options.

I'm thinking if that happened to me and when I called the guy and he was a jerk about it, my next call would be to the bank to put a stop payment on the check, pull my plates off the car and take a bus home :D

i dont know exactly where he was, all i know is that he said he made it to an autozpne parking lot, i was hoping someone with knowledge would call him, thats why i left his number, im gonna give him a call back and see if anyone from the 5 sites i posted this on gave him a call to help to help him,

Could be alot of things.
Starter disable from an old alarm.
Fuel pump went out
the factory antitheft could have kicked in
Neutral safety tits up
Loose wire
Electrical issue (cable to starter, fusible link, coilpacks, and etc)

Just where is the kid stranded? If we knew that perhaps someone close could go help. Troubleshooting over the computer is like rolling dice you might get it but then again you might not.
