On my 98 (just bought it)...my clutch pedal is vibrating because I can feel it with my feet. It goes away if I press the pedal about an inch or a bit more. I'm guessing the cable isn't tight enough (not enough preload)...would a FWA fix this?

Ideas?

Thanks guys/gals:nice:

Can it be adjusted without having to buy the firewall adjuster on a stock clutch setup? Im sick of it vibrating and im too broke right now to get my King Cobra clutch installed and get all the extras

svttech - pry the mechanism a bit tighter?

So I just pull up on the pedal until it clicks a couple times and it will reset itself? I don't want to break or knock anything out of service...

No, to make it tighter you'll have to do it yourself. Get under the dash and hold down the plastic tab that meshes with the quadrant; while holding down that tab, push upwards on the quadrant (turning it counter-clockwise) until you hear a click. If you dislike the new setting or it doesn't help, you can reset the position by pulling up on the pedal.

^^^^ this is how you do it.. first try pulling up on the pedal.. thats the automatic reset, when the quads go bad this will not work and you have to do it the way the above member posted.

or you can buy a new quad.
