I figured out what Aaron is doing, he's converting the car to EFI. He says he is still doing mock up work. What he has told me is that he wants to have EFI, AC, Power Steering, and keep it all under the stock hood.
At this moment he is getting ready to take the dash apart to figure out where he is going to run the fuel injection harness into the cab at. As far as AC goes he wants to run late model gear from the firewall forward, and the stock gear inside the cab. He says his current issues are the AC, figuring out where to run the harness into the cab, and intake clearence. He thinks new motor mounts and lack of a transmission are causing the motor to sit a little higher than normal.
He wants to keep the battery in the stock location so he plans to delete the EGR and do a little routing magic with the air intake tube to pull that off. I managed to sneak a photo under the hood when he went to get some stuff while he was laying out the harness under the hood.
He wants to get things better prepped, read cleaned and painted, before taking pictures to post but I think you guys may have some input that may help him so thanks in advance.
