does anyone know the cam specs on the anderson N-111?

Its a VERY aggressive hydraulic roller cam. 248/258 .576/.576 is all I know. I do not know the open/close events.

You BETTER have the valvetrain and induction to support a cam of that nature and a steep gear.

Unless your goign to build the entire motor I would skip the 111, it is way to big for the normal "bolt on" motor.

I have access to quite a few old PS cams, but they are made for some rpm ;) Let me know if you may be interested.

i probably should have got in touch with you rick to begin with about a used PS cam. I guess I'm gonna go ahead with this one. Its brand new, and eventually I'll build an engine to go along with it...I'm also wanting to go to a set of aluminum edelbrock performer heads....eventually. I'll prolly call you rick.....still just to see what all you have!

Personally I'd pass on the cam, build the motor then decide on the cam. That cam isn't made to go with a Edelbrock Performer...match it all and it will run great.

rick basically the engine will be a stock explorer shortblock with GT-40 heads....unless I sell the GT-40's and upgrade to the edelbrock performers. This engine will be basically the same as my Factory Stock engine...but it has more of the stock eliminator type duration/lift...for a little better flow. I'm sure I could by a better cam, but for the money I'm spending on it...I doubt I could do it this reasonable.
Believe it or not these guys in FS told me they are running at least 250 duration at .050"......but are limited to the .480" lift.....not a whole lot of difference there that I can tell. You may can give me a little more input on something I'm missing though....I usually miss quite a bit.
Thanks
Ben

while I'm getting responses let me ask ya'll a cam question

if running NA what lobe seperation would i generally want?

if running a power adder (say nitrous) what lobe seperation would I generally want?
thanks
Ben

Rick,
I didnt buy that cam, as you suggested.

shoot me an email or PM and let me know what you have availible (Cam wise)that I can run with either 1.6 rockers or 1.7's ....just so I dont have to notch my pistons, or if I do just make sure its not a situation where my stock pistons are thick enough for the valve relief! lol.......I basically want something I can throw in, and run at bowling green...and maybe hit some 12.00's (with everything else being like it needs to be).
Thanks
Ben
