All right all you experienced motorheads!:D
I am dynoing this weekend - 1st time ever - based on the mods you see below - any thoughts on what my RWHP should be around?

When I got the saleen set up from JDM I asked for a minimum of 450rwhp when I sent in the specs for my tune - you think I made It? I will post the actual numbers after the dyno run!

Perfornance Mods:
Mark VI Saleen S/C w/intercooler
Saleen CAI w/7” open filter
90mm Lightning MAF,
39# cobra injectors,
3.4" pulley with 9.5psi
Gates Belt
Prothane Bullet motor mounts
SLP LoudMouths
Ford Racing 4.10 gears
Ford Racing Suspension
JDM xcal2 tune 92oct
BFG KDWS 255-50-ZR17

my guess is 457 hp.

are you going to custom dyno tune it, or just a baseline?

That all depends - If I am way off of 450rwhp - probably. I will be pretty torqued if it is. 457 would be good.
It better be more than 429 - I paid out a lot of cash in an attempt to get the car to 450.

Dynojet or Mustang dyno? Makes a big difference. That Saleen blower is designed more for low end torque. Adding boost doesn't raise hp #'s like other blowers but the low end torque is great for the street. Good choice in superchargers, you'll love it. Don't worry, you will not be disappointed.

Well Here are the dyno results -Car is running lean on the JDM tune. Shop couldnt adjust the tune because for some reason JDM made it so we cant edit the tune as needed..so we decided not to run it harder than 5000 since we couldnt adjust a/f.

Hopefully JDM will enable the tune to be adjusted.

Here they are... I wasnt impressed.

WOW!! i would call JDM ASAP on monday!!! to spend that kind of money, and then to have less power than what is advertised for JUST the saleen blower, with no other mods is totally unacceptable.

Got ahold of Jim at JDM - after talking and sending him some pictures we figured out that the vacuum hose was installed incorrectly for the level of boost I have which may be causing the lean condition as well as the obvious loss of HP. Fixed the hose and immediately noticed a difference. I have another dyno run scheduled for this weekend - saturday. Will post new numbers...

Tune needs help

New numbers
402RWHP
378RWTQ

Still running lean down low rpms and as I climb to 6100, and Still short of the intended goal for this set up. Calling Jim at JDM in the morning..

Hope you have better luck with JDM then I did.I'm still waiting for a tune from them that works well.I ended up modifying their tune I yet to have it dynoed.
I have a friend that has a simular set up as yours and almost exact power numbers with only 4psi.

After a long battle with Jim jr and Jim sr I got them to e-mail me an extreme tune. With the free sct software you can adjust timming, fuel, gears ect.

All I can say is they seem more concerned with racing and getting magizine articales written about them then customer service.
