Just checking to see where your cars shift at......I know the computer controls 2 and 3.....I took it out and actually "watched the tach" and it shifted from 1st to 2nd at 4500 rpms.....I manually shifted and took it to 6k....not intentionally..meant to at 5500......lol......I am going to have Don/Rob lock up the stall in 2/3rd on one of the SCT settings just for when I go to the track but just trying to figure the 99/100 mph trap dilemma......friend in the LT1 wants a rematch soon......

Did you control you shift 1 to 2 with your tweecer?

Exactly...I set my 1-2 and 2-3 shift points to be 5500 with the Tweecer (I also firmed up the shifts with more TV pressure).

If you were shifting at 4500, you were leaving a TON of performance on the table! Especially with your setup...I bet shifting at 5500 (or higher, don't know the powerband of your heads/cam) could drop .5 off of that ET...

Was 2-3 the same, 4500?

Swarzkopf:
What TV pressure settings did you use - mine are below:

trans tv press 1-2:
x 0 0 0 0 0 52 400 600 1020
y 5 5 5 5 5 10 17 46 56

trans tv prss 2-3:
x 0 0 0 28 52 252 400 600 1020
y -5 -5 -5 -5 0 8 8 27 42

Mine shifts right at 5,000 to 5,100. I rarely ever let my car shift itself when racing. I can get a couple more tenths out of it by running it on up to 5,500 in each gear. Plus it's a little less boring, especially when spraying the car. :D

I used to have a 95 GT AODE. I had a new rebuild, an aftermarket shift kit and valve body, and an autologic chip (professionally tuned) that would let her shift at 5,800-5,900. The car ran really good after all those mods. The car was a pig before that, I had a lot of trouble with the trans.
