Here's my cheap little mod. JBL CS 300.1 with a 10" Infinity reference. The box believe it or not was a build it yourself from Wal Mart that is great for the money, I just used silicon to seal it.

Bass on a budget!!!

I just finished my sub install this morning and can't believe what a difference it makes to the sound of the Mach 460!! WOW!! I was on a budget so I picked up a used Rockford Fosgate Punch 200s amp (200 watts RMS bridged, 400 watts peak) and paired that with a Bazooka 10" sub. The bass is clean, tight and you can feel it in your chest. What an amazing difference! The sub you can get from ebay for about $100 shipped. It cost me less than $200 and the install was cake. So if you are on a budget, want a fast easy install and still want to POUND you have options!! Here are some pics of the install.

Tapped into the factory wiring

Amp fit perfect on the side

The strap was needed due to my agressive driving habbits

Still plenty of room and can easily be removed if needed

Have you tried to point the Bazooka towards the rear, its supposed to be "corner loaded". I nticed a little better output from the one i put in my g/f's car.

Great suggestion! I turned it around and it did sound a little better. Thanks! I'm thinking about getting another one now and putting it on the other side. Damn this bass is addicting! Why is it that one mod always leads to another, then another…etc?

I was just trying to show a cheap way to get good sound from the stock audio system, not everyone spends all their money on ICE you know. I guess it all depends on where you priorities are. I'll soon be dropping about $7k on my engine and have 500whp. Speed is at the top of my list, not "sound and shine". How fast does you bling-bling audio system and your tinted windows make your car? I'll see you in my rearview mirror.

moss ur system is sweet...but get a seat delete for that back panel!!!

unless u have one and i didnt read ur text cuz i just like looking at pictures :)
Thanks.

I wish I could do the seat delete, but I have a wife and a daughter who loves to ride in the Stang. Maybe I should make a 1 passenger rule.:D

My wife will kill me if I left her out.:rlaugh:

Here's my set up. Dont ask how i fit this box in my trunk because i have no idea and i think its going to be almost impossible to take out w.o having to break the box. I have Two 12" adrenaline's 700 watts each and a wimpy ass 600 watt amp. Yes, i know i need a bigger amp but right now thats where my money isn't focusing but it still pounds =D..Im not too crazy about the neon lights in there but i never turn them on because i have a set of kill switches under my steering wheel so i can switch the lights on/off and also the subs on/off because driving with a system and having a headache don't mix so time to time i just switch them off lol.
