Eaton M90/Supercoupe blower on a V6 Stang?

Has anyone on here added this particular supercharger on a 3.8 Mustang??? Just wondering how involved the swap/set up would be. I'm considering purchasing a new daily driver considering the price of gas, and a blown 3.8 might be one of my options...links? thoughts? etc. Just toying with the idea! Rebuilt 3.8 with mildly ported heads and an eaton m90...hmmmm...I see the supercoupes in the boneyard all the time with the M90 ripe for picking, hehe

Take it from me. It is not worth the cost at all. It will be cheaper to swap a whole supercoupe engine then try to swap only the supercharger. But, if you are desperate to find out some details, go over to v6power.net and look up supercoupe swap. There is a thread somewhere on there that describes every part you would need for it.

yeah i took a look at the site a few days ago. You're absolutely correct - I can't really justify the swap considering the fact that i can do a mild H/C/I on a 5.0 for cheap. I'd still like to take a ride in one of these cars though! a pumped up buzzin half dozen would make for a fun sleeper and surprise quite a few people i think.

It seems to me that stang net v6 forums are pritty much agenst "performance" v6 mods. weather it be a split port swap, supercoupe swap, or anything...my suggestion is to stay away from this sad sorry excuse of forum and go find another that is more for the V6.

Well I am not going to agree/disagree with you here. I can say that my post had nothing to do with what u are talking about. That swap is just a bad idea. Many have tried with only a few success's. Of those people, they all admit it probably would have been cheaper or flat out better to go a different route.

Split port swap = good. Supercoupe swap = bad.
