pretty much how it was. :D

We got them on, and it sounded like a friggin stock car with the cams and open headers. Amazing, especially at 11:30pm :hail2:

Only real problems we had were issues with the SLP supplied bolts not wanting to thread into the heads, but we fissed it.

Just sucks I didnt get to cruise around in the Bullitt today, had to take the GT to jasons house.

Is it normal that a 240-250rwhp (est) with 4.10s feels like it pulls harder than a 370/370 blown car with 3.73s? Probably just bc the boost doesnt come on until after 3k :shrug:

could be, cant really tell with those BFG DR's. Plus I havent really gotten on it in the Bullitt from a dead stop, only a few mild downshifts on the interstate on the trip back.

The car feels so different from my GT. I really love it. :nice:
 
That bullitt is an awesome car!! Clean as hell, hard to believe it's an '01 in that nice of condition :drool: :drool:

Well brandon, we finally got the x-pipe on and everything.. it sounds pretty good, but nothing like open headers :D.. I love it :hail2:
 
Yes open LTs sound INSANE! Tell me you guys got a video of it!

And Helty, about Jasons car, he shouldnt have been going WOT until its tuned :D.
But with the centri blower it should "feel" faster, but not WAY faster until your get up around 5000RPM+. Remember its peak torque is probably over 4500RPMs, so down lower its not going to be all that fast.

I meant I didnt really get on MY car yet, the Bullitt. I was comparing it to my GT with 4.10s, not jasons cammer ;)

And yes, it sounded like a fricken race car, just F'n mean! :hail2:

You gonna be pissed if he puts down 300 at the wheels :D

And yeah, it does pull way harder around 4-4.5k. Maybe my ass was just numb from the drive to and from KY to get the car.

EH, only for about a month or so *evil grin* .

OHHH ok lol, I thought you were camparing it to jasons car haha. The bullitt should be a 110-112 trapping car.

Stock exhaust. I really like the rumble of the Bullitt mufflers. I may swap mid-pipes and keep the Bullitt cat-back.

We'll get a vid of his car soon. I have a few after the cam install, but none with LT's yet.

Trust me, it sounds fuggin sick :drool:

I have a upr x-pipe with no cats and it sounds great.:nice: may be loosing some power to an aftermarket but i love it. people are always asking what kind of exhaust it is. can you buy the mufflers from ford? Maybe get some nice pipes bent for the mufflers, if you look at them they are kinked pretty good where they are welded, should be worth a couple horsepower.
