Carb'ed ignition

The tfi ignition on 87-93 mustangs runs with the eec right? If not is it possible to put it on a older carbuerated mustang? 79-86?

i just run a dist. from an older 302 one with a magnetic pickup, and run it to an MSD 6al box then to an msd blaster II coil. You have to figure out the way the wires go into the MSD from the dizzy but its a 50/50 shot. It works great for me.

So I can just take the gear off the tfi distributor and put it on an older one?

so your saying I can use the modul with the duraspark?

you can't use tfi ignition on a carbed engine. rangers did it but they had an electronic carb that won't run without the tfi and vise versa

what i'm doing on my car is, i got a one wire hei setup off ebay, sooo lazy 50,000 volts hard to pass up
