??? TCP coil over suspension

I installed a TCP coil over kit in my 65 Fastback about 1.5 years ago. Shortly after the install, the right front shock blew out. I sent in to Varishock and they rebuilt it. I installed the rebuilt shock over last winter and when spring came and I was driving the car again, it had a nasty creaking noise. I assumed it was the poly stabilizer bushings but it turns out it is the right side shock again and besides the creaking noise, it is leaking again.
I was double checking the instructions and noticed that they show a right and left upper shock mount. When I installed the system, I remember checking these mounts and they were not marked, so I looked them over carefully and found that they were exactly alike and finished the job.
I called TCP tech dept. this week and was assured that there is a right and left upper mount. He said there is either a part # stamped on them or they are marked "D" or "P" (driver/passenger).
I removed both mounts this morning and there are no markings on them. The shocks are in line with the ball joints, looking from the side and both have the same tilt, inward toward the top mount when looking from the front.
So now my question: Can anyone tell me if their kits had a left and right upper mount and if they were vastly different??
BTW, the car has been driven less than 400 miles since the original coil over install.
Thanks:SNSign:

Yeah, there is a Driver/Passenger shock mount, but it's not marked on the mount itself. However, the instruction explains how ot tell them apart.
How to determine driver from passenger upper shock mount:
Place mount on flat surface; top plate against ssurface; tabs pointing upward; rounded edge facing away from you.
Tabs leaning to left; indicate driver side.
Tabs lean to right; indicate passenger side.

Here's an image of my install. I don't think the shock would be able to mount to the LCA if the upper mounts were installed incorrectly.
