I say buy a 1993 cady like this

Just throw the 15 in there, get some gold spoked wheels, and some dice in the mirror and your all set :nice:

Mustangs are made for performance, not raddling peoples windows mang. Some bass is cool, but that much is a bit overkill dont you think? (although im MORE than happy with the stock system..460)

why is 1 15" sub any different than all the people with two twelves. the only reason im putting it in is because it was free, i dont see why you would suggest i need to be driving a caddy instead. my mustang has plenty of go this box isnt gonna slow me down that much. besides i drive the car maybe twice a month i just have it for fun not to be an autocross winner or anything.

Does the 15" cause it to sag any? That was my fear when I had my stang...didn't want too much weight dropping the back. The only problem I'd have with a 15" is that they tend to be more for the low thumpy bass rather than the tight hitting bass I prefer. But....its your car so whatever floats your boat. Glad it fit.

One 15 will KICK if its a good one that requires around 3000+ watts to run....basically all im saying is that the thing will THUMP like a mad man. Enough to be freegin rattling your whole car...that reminded me of the homies around here with the said caddy and the whole car rattling like its going down a wash board road LOL. I always picture one of those cars when I think of HUGE subs or alot of base LOL....so I guess I couldnt help myself :D

Im no stereo guy though lol, but yea dude its your car, you can do whatever you want :nice: .

yes im sure it will sag, the box alone was enough to sag it about 1/2" thats with no sub in it. so it will probably squat quite a bit, we'll see. i have coilovers going on the front tonite, im going to drop it into the weeds. you can probably guess by now im not really concerned at all with the overall performance of the car anymore, my bike does the job quite well. the car will still haul ass im sure, probably just in a straight line though.

look dependending on the size of your box all you really gotta do is take the spare out slide the box in put the spare back in and then hook the sub in. i could do it but then again i really wouldn't want to its just too big for that car and trunk my 12 is too big especially in the monster Q logic box i have but it was the setup i wanted at the time and it sounds real sharp if you really want that much bass then you would also want to manufacture something to move the rear component speakers about 3" so you have more clearance or just leave the spare out it can be done i just don't see the point in all that work when a competition 12" or even two 10's would sound better plus you would have more space. and from my experiance 15's are a lot easier to blow. but good luck

with the mach460 deck out, no spare, all trunk pieces removed and trunk hatch latch removed the box slips right in. piece of cake, lol.

DocG2828 - to answer your question as easy as possible...i bought a suzuki gsxr750, to me the bike is 10x more fun and i cannot go a day without riding it, the car sits because i dont have time for both.
