why is 1 15" sub any different than all the people with two twelves. the only reason im putting it in is because it was free, i dont see why you would suggest i need to be driving a caddy instead. my mustang has plenty of go this box isnt gonna slow me down that much. besides i drive the car maybe twice a month i just have it for fun not to be an autocross winner or anything.hotmustang331 said:I say buy a 1993 cady like this
Just throw the 15 in there, get some gold spoked wheels, and some dice in the mirror and your all set
Mustangs are made for performance, not raddling peoples windows mang. Some bass is cool, but that much is a bit overkill dont you think? (although im MORE than happy with the stock system..460)
yes im sure it will sag, the box alone was enough to sag it about 1/2" thats with no sub in it. so it will probably squat quite a bit, we'll see. i have coilovers going on the front tonite, im going to drop it into the weeds. you can probably guess by now im not really concerned at all with the overall performance of the car anymore, my bike does the job quite well. the car will still haul ass im sure, probably just in a straight line though.DocG2828 said:Does the 15" cause it to sag any? That was my fear when I had my stang...didn't want too much weight dropping the back. The only problem I'd have with a 15" is that they tend to be more for the low thumpy bass rather than the tight hitting bass I prefer. But....its your car so whatever floats your boat. Glad it fit.
