I taught my wife to drive stick on my '04 Saleen. Granted, it's not the best idea to practice on a 400hp car but so be it..... We'll, my clutch is making a whirling noise now. If the car is in nuetral, clutch pedal up, no noise Press the peddle down (any amount) and the whirling noise starts. Clutchs grabs fine, no slipping, no smells/smoke. Any ideas?

Thanks!!!

I would have thought throwout bearing, but usually the noise occurs opposite to what you're saying.

no the ToB will make noise when the clutch is engaging/disengaging as well. Some people get the clutch out whir, and some get it the other way around.
