Vortech crank pulley question

The powerpipe and larger meter are letting more air into the blower, which will push more cfm into the motor since the blower is working easier. More air into the same motor will increase boost since it now has more of a restriction.

Most PP users report a increase of 2-3 pounds of boost, we saw the same thing on our 93 Cobra.

stock mass air and no power pipe....Just the base kit on a bone stock 93 lx 45k mile car except the upgraded crank pulley...

That's a good amount of boost your seeing with no powerpipe. I didn't have any luck getting that much boost with my stock motor/vortech inlet setup. I'd be curious to see how much boost you would gain from a powerpipe without touching anything else assuming your mass air meter can handle it.

Well I just placed a order for some goodies...A upr power pipe,76 mm mass air,Bassani headers,dr gas x pipe and flowmaster cat back delta flow system.
we will se what kind of boost after the install of the power pipe and mass air.Im looking for around 10psi around 5k... I like short shifting the car a little early,The car still has stock heads, cam and intake so it feels like it dont pull any harder between 5 and 6k...I talked to Rick Anderson and he said it probably levels off with power around 5200 rpm so no since in stretching it to 6 k if its not going to make that much difference.
