I was just wondering how long did it take for you to become bored with the output of your car after a major upgrade in performance? As of late I have become bored enough with my cars performance to seriously consider a Zex kit. I always thought if I just had 300 I would be satisfied...well 600 miles on the mill and I'm officially accustomed to the 'feel' of the car in second an third and want that PUNCH that I felt the first time the new engine saw the redline...I'm willing to bet a nice 75 shot will help that out. Anyways...who else and how long did it take for you to become...bored?

To be honest I never get bored of it (I'm talking about the 5-speed of course). The only time I feel like it needs something is when I lose. lol Since it's no longer my daily driver it feels like a monster whenever I get on it.

With my convertible i got bored with the power after a couple months, thats why I am building my cobra to double the power output of my 88. Its going to pretty hard to get bored with 800+rwhp on tap when on race gas :D

I thinks some of it may have to do with the fresh BFG DR's on the back..no longer slip slidding through second kinda take the WOW factor out of the experience...though 1st gear is just AWESOME...suspension and tires, I can jump on it at 1200 rpm and keep traction to the shift...in first she just screams.

I just picked up a nitrous kit for the same reason, DMAN. Took me a couple thousand miles to get bored with the H/C/I and fresh bottom end though. It will be nice to take a hit and smile that big smile-but then you know what that leads to----SUPERCHARGER then nitrous and supercharger. then turbo/nitrous,then turbo ran through a supercharger with nitrous, then methanol injection, then jet engine........ ok so I got a little carried away. Nitrous will be sweet for a while though I think.

Even stranger, but now when i look at a fox for sale i really just look at the body, and the interior, i already know where the engine needs to be and how to get it there

Keep me informed as to how it turns out..I'd really like to hear about the experience.
