I'm thinking about ordering these this week and wanted to know if anybody has experience with these or has had issues with the fit. Better yet, pics?

Ultra 454s: 17x8s w/4-1/4 bs. Dodgestang's chart says they'll fit, but I just want to poll the audience for feedback before dropping a grand. Thanks.

If I don't get these, I plan to go with the 15 x 8 Magnmum 500's. I don't know what size tire for these, but am entertaining just using a size from Dodgestang's chart. That thing is awesome!

4-1/2 maybe? I'm thinking 235 or 245/45/17s for the rubber.

4.5 will work beter, you can get away with as much as 5".

245's are a tight fit in the front but can be done with careful measurement of backspacing. I had to roll my fender lips, but the car is also lowered 3". You might want to stick to 235's up front just in case.

You can go much wider in the rear. 275's shouldn't be a problem.

Saweeet! Thanks.

I like the wider tire for the rear, but i'm thinkin' i'm going to go with 235 all around. That way I can get directionals and rotate every 5K. Which brings up another question about directionals and rotation. Front to back is all that can be done. I wonder if directionals are a good idea...

Regardless, I think those 454's will look good. A nice change up from the TTIIs, TTD, and Magnum 500s. Especially since i'm painting the car a "liquidy light greyish color"

A worthy goal Cupid, but I don't think you'll be happy with 235s all around. That does not come even close to filling out the fenders.

If you insist, I would recommend 4.5 inches of backspacing. Any more and the rear tires will be as drawn in as certain body parts when surfing in the winter.

Another vote for something bigger than 235's huh? Okay, okay.... I agree that 235s are too narrow. Bottlefed says 275's. I thought that was HUGE. Yes, there was a vehicle on the Fitchart with 255's Front/275's Rear.

What about 255s all around? I can do that, I just don't want the front to rub. Thanks again.

You don't have to use 275's, I was just saying that you could fit that large if you wanted.

Here's a pic of my car. These are 18's, but the tires are 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear. Car is lowered about 3", front fender lips rolled, and nothing rubs.

Mine is really a vote for different sizes front to rear. The 255s would probably rub on the front unless you squeezed them on too small a rim.

Very nice stance and look.

I believe you said the fronts were 9s, what bs did you end up with?

They were 9", but I didn't like to look of the 245 rubber on a 9" wheel. Couldn't fit any more rubber, so I had the wheel narrowed (rears are still 9").

The backspacing is 5" on the front, 5.5" in the rear.

I imagine that the front backspacing is maxed out, but the back has some more room if someone wanted to stuff even more tire under there. Is that the case?

The front is pretty much maxed out.

The rear you can do another 1/2" of backspacing. The wheel will fit, but the rubber will start rubbing on the fender well. If going with wide rubber, you'd probably want your backspacing to be approx 5.75"

305's in the rear is possible with careful measurement of backspacing and rolling of the fender lip.
