Bullit intake manifold???

what people fail to realize is the power under the curve that the bullit intake makes. you'll gain a solid amount of low end torque plus about 10hp peak n/a. when a power adder is added, you can see and extra 30+rwhp with a bullit intake over the stock plastic piece. if you are staying near stock, i wouldn't recommend it, but if you want the most out of an n/a setup, it will net you atleast .2 in the 1/4mi.

I believe you and truth be told $1000 for that .2 is comparable to other modular 4.6 mods such as long tubes and cams so it is not all that bad of a mod. It looks damn cool also that is for sure :nice:

^ Agreed. Everyone places so much emphasis on peak gains... but if something is going to give me 10-15 rwhp throughout the power band but maybe only 5 at peak (N/A), thats still worth it to me. Yes the Bullitt manifold is pretty expensive, but it would be the first thing I did so my car if I was building for boost. Plus lets face it, what are our options for aftermarket 4.6 manifolds? They're limited at best.

first off the unit is much getter suited for blown applications. But with the blower apps, there are some modifications needed to make it work properly (lonmger radiator hose, alternator brackets need space to line up belt, and other stuff). It's not a direct bolt on for blower apps, but IS a direct bolt on for N/A.
Also the cost will run you close to $2000.000 $935.00 for hte Intake and $935 for the installation kit. I believe I have seen it for about $1600 for all of it.

I'm looking to get another intake, but might just stick with the newer style PI intake. I have the PI heads. I'm not looking to spend that much on the deal right now.
