What bank has a 0% interest car that has a limit large enough to put a blower on?

Lots of them, I constantly throw away offers from Chase, citibank, etc. Actually what I really did was put the blower on my Continental card for the miles, transfered the balance to the newly opened (at that time) Citibank card with 0% interest and made a 3k payment. Then paid the rest off before the 0% was up, and closed the citibank card.

This is true, but it can hurt the bank account that has a wife attached ;) .... I already have a house, 3 cars, etc etc, it wont hurt my credit score much by having my available credit drop by 5k. Now if I was in college and have a limited credit history and I close 1 of three cards I have with a total available credit of 10k and lose 3k of that when carrying a balance of 1k, then yes it will hurt your score.... Like everything in life, it's relative to the individual.

Was just curious if you all had 4k in cash lying around or are charging it on your credit card or a lot of you are going into debt and getting a loan for that amount specifically for the blower? I want one so bad, but dunno if its worth going into debt over...

Yeah i couldn't do that either. If i ever saved up enough cash like $5k for a blower, i think i'd end up spending it on bills and stuff. I dont think i could justify dumping $5k on a blower. But buying little few hundred dollar mods here or there are better for me cause i can justify the spending. $100 here, $250 there isn't a big deal. But $5k to have one day and then spend on a blower hte next.... i couldn't do it. I think i'd end up buyin a rifle or some other random junk or payin off my credit car

never close the card account..pay it off and chop up the card but having the account open with a 0 balance is good for your credit score.

Its true my card was maxed at $3k and i slowly made minimum payments. And when it was maxed at $3k they bumped me up to a $4k limit. then i maxed that out and i think i'm almost about to get $5k limit now. :rlaugh: man im bad with credit :D

Why....it's not like you're using them?
true

only time they really get used is when your sister's in town. flights to and from canada are getting a little expensive though:(

don't you have to pay to keep an account open, even with 0 balance?

i really have no idea. i just debit everything. seems alot less complicated

It is bad for your credit the more cards you have open, imo keep 1 card all the time and then if you want to finance something with 0 interest like at best buy, furniture, etc cancel the card when youre done with it. The fewer open CC you have the more you will be able to borrow later.

I got mine for free. :D I used it as my Senior Physical Project and talked my parents into paying for it. :p I killed two birds with one stone, got my blower and got my physical project done. Its not that I couldnt have bought it myself because I had the money but now I have the blower and still have the money.

Now Im working half the day during school and will make over 4k DURING school hours, that dosent include what Ill be making after school or on weekends. So this winter Ill be spending some of it because my car will be down at FORD while a friend of mine is putting forged internals in it. Im gonna crank up the boost and prolly put a tb/plenum on it. Also something else will be going on/in it that Im keeping as of secret right now. Lets just say Ill be very deep into the 11s maybe 10s?

All those who think they are going to get penalized for spending money on ***** that they want, after they die raise your hands?!
I spent 15 years in the military doing stuff that should have gotten me killed about a dozen times over. Fortunately i'm still here, but there is no guarantee that I will be tomorrow. When I die, thats it, no more chances and if I should have any money left in my account, then I didn't spend enough! CARPE DIEM fellow StangNetters!
Chinese
North Koreans
Iranians
Iraqis
Saudis
Afghanis
And a whole lot more crazy Mother *****ers that are waiting for their chance to blow us out of the water...you wanna be living in a cave, thinking about all the money you had in your IRA?
You wanna blower, get a blower, you wanna paint your car hot pink and Ghost Ride that Whip, do it now man!
Peace!:rlaugh: :flag:

I lost a friend when those two NYC buildings were destroyed. That changed how I look at things too. Not quite ready to charge a Procharger, but who knows, that jet engine whistle sound's getting hard to resist.

Haha, some of you guys are nuts. I'm not in debt right now, save for about 1k on the credit card... and if you count the house i just bought, but thats an investment. Car's paid off... I could easily drop 4k on my credit card and have it now, but i hate interest charges on credit cards. I think what i'll do is try to save up half of it, 2.5k or so and drop the rest on the card to build credit and pay it off at my leisure. Im very financially responsible and love being debt free at my age. Now if i can stop dropping 250 here and there for my car on little things and start dropping that in savings. :D

Get a Bank of america visa card- 6500 limit 0% APR for the first year.

I've got plenty of money for one right now ( live at home and go to JC + have job = no rent ) but im going to be transferring to So.Cal. to go to a university so everytime i spend money i feel guilty cuz i know ill need it for college and rent:bang:

Any major purchase you should use some ype of reward credit card..Discover/Visa Divadends/Miles card. First save the money up, or most of it if you feel comforatble doing that. Then use the card, rack up the cash back/miles/points, then pay it off with the cash saved up. I put everything on some type of card, and then just pay it off at the end of the month...as long as you pay the balance off you have no finance charges and they pay you to spend the money you were spending in the first place...now just don't go crazy and spend over your limit..reward cards usually have higher intrest rates.

Why not Instead of dropping 5k just sell our stangs and ALL go COBRA!! :)...I want one so bad.....but right now only making 9.50 an hour 50 hours a week...sucking..but don't even think I can afford the kewbra..maybe if I got a good deal on payments..at least if they were under 500 a month I'd be fine:shrug:
