As I mentioned in another post I wanted a fun DD and have been test driving the S197's since the first ones came out, V-6's, GT's, Verts, etc. and I decided on the 2007 V-6 Deluxe for what I consider to be the best Car available for the investment made to perform that duty for me.

Anybody have any tips, suggestions, directions, comments or some things I might need to know that may assist me with my new ride?

Here's a snapshot from last night after it's first bath:

Looks very similar to my 2005. Great color. I added the spinners to the wheels with the running pony centers and a GT grill. You'll love this car. I get compliments all the time on the color.

Thanks for all the reply's everyone!

stanmckinney, those spinners are the only option on the Mustang, it's hard to beleive that wheels as good looking as they are came as Standard Equipment but I think the spinners add a little more to them too.

bigcat, I didn't trade the Mach1, I traded my Truck on it, I wanted a Mustang I could use daily and enjoy the vehicle I am driving, I don't drive the Mach enough to enjoy it I guess but I'm lovin' the 6er getting to drive it everyday.

srothfuss, yep the color is right, V-8 will be too, I'm pretty happy with the 6, plenty of umph for what I want this Mustang for. I am impressed how much aftermarket goodies are available for the V-6 out there. Recently they had an all 6 cylinder event at Valdosta's NHRA track and there were lots of them running in the 10's!!

The Fang, I think the spoiler delete is pretty cool too, I also wouldn't mind putting the pony stripes on, but I like the shelby stripes too, and the CS ones, ha, but then again, I think the plain jane look is alright also. :D

APowers, That's funny man, maybe your right, 'cept add, drive it a lot! What all have you done to yours, I assume you have done some things with the "but look who's talking" statement you made.

For me it was a toss up between the Legend Lime and the Windveil Blue. I knew I wanted a nostalgic color!

The deciding factor for me was out of the two cars available here the Windveil had 18" Polished wheels! The Lime just had the 17" gray ones.

Anyhow, I love this color - good choice :nice:

Yea, I liked the Legend Lime too, it was a toss up for me. I'll bet yours looks good with the Polished 18's!

Very nice!!! :nice: I too love the WB. That's what my 05 was but the black 06 pony won me over..

You need to add a blackout panel to the trunk, I think that looks very nice on the WBs also paint the 'lines' around the tail lights. Don't forget the sequences either.

I've got a couple pics in 'My Garage'. They're not very good quality though, friggin camera phones! LOL

Looks good, I've got my stock Mach1 wheels that I put on the other day but the 245/45-17's are too short and didn't look right to me, but those 18's are right! :nice:

I've got a buddy who traded his '05 WBlue for an '06 Black one too, he says except for keeping it clean, he couldn't be happier.

As far as the mods you mentioned, I want to do a lot to it, since there is everything imaginable for them out there. I've only had it for just a little over a week and I am struggling to not do stuff to it. I think a shifter would be the first thing I'd do, but after talking to the Dealer about it, he said he'd warranty it but he doubted if someplace else would if I had to take it in for warranty work.
