So in the bag that came with my jets in the NX kit, there's a slip that states the jet sizes for different HP ratings. For 50 horses it says to use 38(n2o) and 22(fuel). For a 100 shot it states 52(n2o) and 28(fuel). THEN I look in the back of the NX install book and the numbers are DIFFERENT than stated above.

The NX install book states 35 (n2o) and 20(fuel) for a 50 shot. Then for a 100 shot it says 52(n2o) and 33 (fuel). These are both listed under the 2000 GT 4.6L . Right below that it says "52(n2o) and 28(fuel)" for a 4.6L 4v. The 50 shot is listed as 35/18 for the 4v. So I call NX and talk to a guy. HE says to "use the slip that came with the kit and the provided jets, NOT the book." To me that makes no sense at all. So WTF do I do? Too much fuel and BYE BYE intake. Too little and hear comes that lovely knockin'! Please help me guys...

BTW- this is for a 2000 4.6L 2V, NX plate kit:nice:

^That didnt help him any :rlaugh: . DId you read his question? HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT JETS TO USE TO GET 100HP! :nonono:

Tanner, they can mix up the cards...but the book should be consistent...especially if its listed for "4.6 2V" . People screw up sometimes, and may have given you an LS1 card. Good luck! and remember to put it on a dyno SOON! :nice:

Ive been having a hard time running down the right numbers for my set up too. I bought it off of a guy that had a non-PI mustang and he told me it was a 125 shot but ive seen these also listed as a 150 shot. the pills are 59(n) 37(f), and its also going on a 2000 GT. does any one run this combo or know the power it makes on a pi motor?

a 59 nitrous jet is a 150 size jet I believe.

52 / 33 N/f is the NX jetting for a 2v the 4v is different, I beleive because of the higher Fp from the factory.

woha!!??!! no jets are jets N2O is N2O, if you have a N2O kit jetted for a 75 shot it dosent matter what car or if the car is a 2v or a 4v you put it on it will give you a 75 shot all that matters is if you car can handel the extra HP

No the 4v uses a different fuel jet. Seeing as you come in here claiming to be a Nitrous guy I'm sure you realize that different fuel pressures call for different size fuel jets in a wet system. Same as bottle PSI. IF manufacturer X rates at 900psi and manufacturer Y rates at 1050psi the nitrous jets will also be slightly different.
But of course I'm sure you already knew all that.

BTW here are a few online Nitrous jet calc charts

NOS says for a single fogger you need a 41,26 to get a 75shot NW says you need a 42,28 for a 75shot, the chart i got came from NW, well as for your sites you can change the fuel psi all day and the fuel jet sizes stay the same ?? maybe he should just call up the maker of hit kit and have them give the right jet sizes, so if he smoaks the motor its his/there falt and not what the guys on the net are saying
