been doing a little reading. But cant find any articles on basic and mild turbo charging on a mustang.

from what i have gathered. Once can piece together and do a little work and fab up a kit for around 1-1.5k or so.

I am no afraid to make pipe and maybe my own set of headers and whatnot

so would this sorta of idea work.

small turbo from SVO or TC tbrid

make or do whatever neccesary to get the correct pipe for the kit.

aquire or make a set of headers.

blowoff valve

and a timing retard??

would it be wise to get an intercooler?. I was thinking maybe a mild 5-6 maybe 7 psi... didnt know if i would really need it.

also on exhaust. since both headers feed the turbo. will i only have 1 pipe for exhaust??

just been pondering. i want something to do in the future lol

I have been thinking about the same thing for a car I got out back.

It has BBk shorties on it now I was gunna flip and then make the turbo flange and crossover tube so it could bolt on to the headers. You would only have one exhaust pipe, unless you went into a y-pipe then to daul exit.

Though Im thinking a twin turbo would be cooler to set-up with dual exhaust for real :D You could even do to differant sized turbos.

i have a diy turbo kit
its not cheap
its can be very frustrating at times.
and you must have matching turbos if you do twins. and one turbo from an svo 2.3lt 4cyl will not work on a v8:nice: 2 of them will work for twins but again must be the same.
if you cant find what your looking for its cuz your in the wrong place. go to turbomustangs.com has all the stuff you'll need + millions of questions answered that you seek. good luck:nice:
