I also got mine from Southern rods for about half the cost of Mustangs Unlimited, shipped to my door. As Tim's pics show, they're OEM quality. Mine mounted very easily in my '70, and I used the stock upper seatbelt mount, so they only required drilling holes to mount the retractors. I haven't had any problem with the retractor catching overly easy. I think Tim is probably having a problem because of the angle of the belt to the retractor. They're inertia belts, so when they get off kilter they tighten up like they should. You can find pics here:Tim65GT said:Mine are similar, but I got them from Southern Rods:
I added metal plates in the roof and sill areas to secure them.
I moved the lap belts to the back seats.
If I were to do it again, I would mount them the same way, but would've searched for a set with higher quality. Particularly the retractors - they have a centrifugal catch system which seems way too sensitive. When you go to put them on, you have to pull them out very gently or they catch. It gets aggravating sometimes.
