If you don't mind going used, then look into Mercedes-Benz. We picked-up an 2002 E320 4Matic with about 60k on it for less than $20k. They killed us on the excise tax, but it's a great car, looks really nice and the v6 in it will surprise you for the size of car that it is. It's more about the luxury than the performance, but I really like it. It gets about 22-24 mpg in town and about 28 mpg highway. It does take 91 octane gas though (10:1 compression ratio). It's got more bells and whistles than the two Expeditions that we have owned too. We've had it about 5 months now, and overall I'm very pleased with it. I don't have any good pics of it, but here's a couple....

They start at around $25K. The Redline is just the turbo version .... but it starts just under $30K.

The reason I slapped that awesome Solstice video in there at the end .... well, the Sky is based off of the Solstice. And as far as the engine in these cars ... they're extremely reliable and get excellent fuel ecomomy. It's the same ECOTEC that GM used in Cavaliers, Cobalt's, Solstice, etc. I had one in my old company car (Olds Alero) and it really was an outstanding engine. My dad is a 19 year tech for GM ..... and he says they very rarely see a problem out of the ECOTEC's.

If you are open to used cars, Marauder. I love mine, its comfortable gets decent gas now with the tuner. I get anywhere from 18-20 in town and up to 25 on the highway. It's ford, it looks mean as hell. What more could you want?:D

The pic of the engine bay is from the concept, it is not a blown 2v but a n/a 4v. Same motor as a Auto Mach-1 except the intake exits out the drivers side. The interior shot I believe is also from the concept because the by the lights that switch is not on the production vehicles. Stock it's not the quickest thing on the road, mostly 15's a few have cracked 14's. But throw on a tune and you should be solidly in the 14's. Not bad for a heavy 4 door :D

Here is a video I made on the car: http://videos.streetfire.net/search/marauder/0/f6da225d-e5d6-41a7-bcf0-80e14f1e5ffd.htm The first minute or so is just showing what the old school Marauders were. It's long but I like it. :)

I also made this video http://videos.streetfire.net/search/marauder/0/ed8d6f75-4a2b-4258-b3d9-e7e7bb627c17.htm it's shorter but does not have as much video footage.
