Trying to decide if I want to 'jack this thread, or start a new one about my recent experiences with 56-year-old shop-built vehicle consisting of a '49 Ford farm truck chassis (now BBC-powered :rolleyes: ) with a replica of a steam locomotive grafted on top. Oh, yeah, there are firearms involved, but we only use blackpowder blanks in public displays. And there are Veterans involved :flag: ....


Bottom line (after about 10:00 AM local today): Does anybody know where we might actually find a chunk for a '48-'52 2-ton-rated Ford truck axle? Gots to have those cool square-cut ring and pinon gears, so we can still scream 'til we're hoarse to communicate when cruising down the freeway :crazy:
