coil overs,whats the real difference

i have coil overs on the front of my 99 cobra vert. Streering response is amazing, it corners/drives much better. just doing spring gives you more of a look than anything else.

not true. Stock spring rates are horrible for cornering, and MOST aftermarket springs have improved rates that help keep the car flat in extreme/hard cornering.

Swapping the stockers for a higher rate doesn't do much to improve handling. All it does is corner flatter. But there's a whole lot more to handling than flat cornering.

What it really comes down to, is what level of handling do you want. Swapping in some FMS springs isn't going to do much. As jr said, all it really do is change the look and the perceived handling.

Curious about this as well.

I have an Eibach pro kit on my car and KYB AGX adjustibles up front. The steering still sucks.

Coil over conversion that much better?

I was thinking QA1 + coil over kit.

Plus I want the car higher than it sits now or the longtubes are going to hit everywhere.
