thanks guys:nice: , yesterday i got screw in another auction, it was a tko 500, aluminum flywheel, spec 3 clutch and McLeod Bellhousing, for 1,475 and 150 shipping. So i was not going to let this one go. Now with all this goodies I can switch my stock Super charger pulley to a 2.95 and get more boost without breaking the transmission. The only bad thing is that i already have an aluminum driveshaft, so i guess that i am going to put one for sale.

Today i spoke with the seller, and he told me that the Transmission was upgraded by X2C MOTORSPORT in California and it's good 900hp. I dont think i will ever reach that much HP. Does anyone knows anything about this guys. Thanks

Yep, their scam artists and screw their customers. I don't believe they are still in business but I might be wrong.

Make sure you index that Lakewood housing or the you'll be getting wicked vibration and the tranny won't last long. That is a great price for all of that though. My TKO 600 was 1,750 just for the trans.

Thanks for the advice on the bellhousing. I'm hoping to get everything by next Friday. On Monday I am going to a GM Dealership to buy 3 quarts of GM Synchromesh Transmission Fluid.

I have "heard" that. It was from on either here or Corral. Don't kill the messanger. I don't think it had anything to do with their transmissions, but more to do with them actually building customers cars.

Thanks for the info PoopDawg, I hope that what the seller told me is true. He told me that there was nothing wrong with it, that he only did two passes at the track and it went 10.90 on motor. That the reason he was selling was because he is going with a bigger set up and changing to a C4.

That guy mentioned in the auction is the guy that owned X2C Motorsports. They are out of business. One of my friends bought their V1 TKO when they came out a couple years ago. He was told it was good to about 900hp. When it blew up, he called them and the guy told him his 700hp was too much power to put behind it. That was not cool. Anyway, he took the transmission apart to see if they actually did all the things that they claimed. It was a pretty good unit, he just must have had bad luck.

So all the things they claimed they put were there.

I have heard stories as well, and they are out of business. Only downside here is you cant go back to them for what the tranny has, your pretty much going to eat it if it breaks. My guess is it wont break so you should be alright. Nice grab!
