I have 23,000 on my '06, and the only complaints I have are:
* the finish of the center console. You breathe on it wrong, and it will scratch.
* no hood light
* no pony center cap on base Deluxe wheels
* I've developed an intermittend rattle in my dash. I contribute this more to my 100+ launches at the track and just as many additional passes at our "other" track. It's no biggie, and I'm sure I'll fix it soon.
I have SOOOOOOO many likes about the car:
* good gas mileage (I avg over 23 mpg)
* cheaper car insurance
* I like the stock gauges & placement
* shifter position
* placement of the radio & AC controls in relativity to the shifter
* handling & steering feel
* the whole look of the interior (I love the steering wheel & IUP)
* the height of the center console
* I think the seats are comfy, and hold me in good
* stock power, and also the car has responded CRAZY to mods
* ease to work on the car (intake is separate from water lines, better slip-fit exhaust, and plenty of room for headers)
* big mirrors. I thought they were ugly when I bought the car, but I LOVE DRIVING with them... NO blind spots.
* I like the blinker sound LOL
* I like the drive by wire throttle. Sure it's sluggish in stock form, but a tune SO fixes that. It's a hell of alot easier to control precise idle, as opposed to the cars with that IAC valve that always stuck or got dirty!!
* ride quality. Everybody that rides in my car, the first thing they compliment is the ride.
* the looks you get. These $25k cars get as much attention as $50k Mercedes!
* the performance of the stock Pirellis. An all-season tire that is 235mm wide that can pull 1.88 60's AND provide good snow traction??? GET OUTTA TOWN!?!? I love the Pirellis; I will get the very same tire when the time comes. Looks like I'm gonna get 30k miles out of them. I drove the car in WV winter last year and it performed admirably!
* I love stock clutch pedal feel
23,000 miles and I'm still in love with this car. I can honestly say that every time I turn the key it STILL feels like the very first time!
