So, I decided to put the Stang V6 for sale and got no response so far-is it the market or is my pricing too High-Have it for $8600 ? 2001 V6 Yellow Convertible 82K miles-W/mods( E-bay CAI, EIBACH PRO Springs 1.1" drop,DIABLOSPORT PREDATOR TUNER)....... I don`t really need to sell it (since it`s paid off)but why to just sit on the parking collecting dust when somebody can make a really nice ride out of it . What is your opinion on this issue-I know I am already loosing money so how low should I go ?????

Where have you listed it?
Have you tried Autotrader and Craigslist? Maybe even try one of those yellowmustang pages.

Your asking price sounds right to me. I'd leave it where it is, and if you're willing to take $8k, make that your bottom line. I got $9,000 for my '01 coupe w/ 80k miles the other driver's insurance co.

I think the price is right, it just needs more exposure. Drop the top and take it to the beach with a for sale sign. Can't hurt.

If anything, listing mods may count against it.. people see that and may be afraid it's been hot-rodded and now there's something wrong with it. But anyway, $8000 is not too much.. if nothing else, wait until next April or May when the first warm sunny days come and people are sick of being inside all winter. You may get even more for it then.

Yep, doesn`t hurt at all, If it wasn`t paid Off and just sitting there I would be more into exposing it to the public.
I did post an ad in the AUTOTRADER and Craigs list as well.......I`m not in a hurry so I was just wondering what you guys think and thanx for all the inputs.

I sold my old 96 on Craigslist in one day. I basically came up with a amount I would take to part with the stang and added $800 to the price. Buyers always expect you to come off the price some when they do a walk around of your vehicle. When they asked about the price, I offerred $500 off the inflated price. Sold!
