So I am thinking of going with the powerdyne supercharger with for my 98 gt. Is that a good choice becuase they are fairly cheaper then any other supercharger and can you get a aftermakret inertcooler to work with it.

Havn't heard too much about the Powerdyne systems. Most people go with Vortech, Kenne Bell, or Procharger. The Vortech Mongoose kit from modular power house it inexpensive and a great choice. I think it's like $3800 but it comes with a near perfect tune. You'll probably hit 360-390 WHP with 8 psi on that kit.

Wow, 360-390 whp with that? I'm pissed that I bought an InterCooled Kenne Bell SC (with 9psi pulley) cause I'm not expecting more then 375 crank hp but more likely 350 at the crank!

Note: Haven't dynoed yet so I don't know. Will do it in the spring and will post results.

On a PI motor he would.

But the '98 I doubt it. I'd say more around 310-330

He's a '98 and I doubt it would be more than a 35hp difference. And I'm talking to the crank not the wheels. More than 400hp to the crank will risk some serious damage to the engine in stock form.

Several years ago, when I had my 95 GT and I spent more time on this board, Powerdyne Superchargers were considered not very reliable. A number of people that had bought them had problems with them. Maybe things have changed now?
