I love the new front end but just do not trust the flimsy frame rails. I have been thinking of running 1-1/4" tubing from the firewall past the suspension and then bend it down to the frame following the contour of the previously removed shock tower. I have also been tossing the idea of running the bar from the firewall angling down with a minimum bend to clear the suspension and tire. Does anyone have any other ideas? I think this is really a simple thing and I am thinking about it too much.

Well, if you had a full cage in it, it'd be easy. I personally don't trust the MII front suspension without some sort of support.

I have a hard time visualizing what you're talking about in how it would attach to the firewall. If you're just welding a 4x4 plate that the tube attaches to, what keeps the firewall from deflecting?

Nothing except another tube tying down to the torque box on each side
