Just so everyone knows, performance plus in saskatoon did sign up for the 5.0 magazine global dyno day, we will only participate on the 14th or 15th though, not both days.

If anyone is interested, post a note here with which day and what other events you'd like.

In the past we have had sugar daddy djing, beer kegs, big screen with x box, so it doesn't just have to be strictly dynoing, it can be a social event as well.

A few questions:

I realize this is a Mustang Event, but does it have to be a Mustang dynoed? I have a 96 5.0L TBird that I would like to compare it's HP numbers to my 05 Mustang. Would prefer to do them back to back.

Next, can a proper dyno run( locking the Torque Converter in 3rd ) be done without messing up the current tune on the car? Car was dyno-tuned by one of the best SCT tuners out there.

I will only take part if I can dyno-run my 05 Mustang GT and my 96 TBird. Either day is ok for me, but I would prefer the Saturday over the Sunday.

Have your tuner send you the same file but with the trans auto 3rd lock file ,

I can't see it being a problem, the tbird #'s can't be entered onto the event and net though, as the mustang #'s could.

so far we got burgers, x box and a 100" screen. (beer is easy) if you really want to make it a a party. No drinkin until after you've dynoed though. For those that haven't been there are glass doors loking into the dyno room, so you can watch in comfort.

there are a couple guys from stoon coming(whitetrash) and kelly neufeld.

Kevin schaan may make an appearance if his car fits on the dyno. This ios just a maybe so far though. REd 98 COBRA .

We will start around 12:30 and run till everybodys good.

Mustang sent us ten free t shirts for the event as well, the first ten people registered call 800-943-3003 or email [email protected] or the first ten that show up get one.

Due to the parking brake issue on my Mustang, it is out of action. If by chance, I have it back in time for this, it will be there. The TBird will not though.

My 05 Mustang GT was there and was the first Mustang on the dyno. The dyno was calibrated for the event. It made 276 RWHP with just a SLP LM axle back exhaust. The following car was an 03 GT 5 Spd with a Magnaflo cat-back on it and that was it's only mod. It made 236 RWHP.

I was the last car to go on the dyno.Made 247rwhp and 287rwtq,but the car was leaning out over,4900rpm.The A/F ratio was18.4,so I guess I'm looking at getting a chip burned and some further tuning.
