Supraburger Pics (56k MEGA-beware!!)

It was a great afternoon, despite the weather threatening us all day. It somehow managed to stay dry the ENTIRE time. Some pretty insane cars out there today.

Headed to Stannich's and had a TON of greasy fries and great burgers. About 50 people ended up showing, not a bad turnout at all.

After the burgers we headed back to RRev Motorsports to hang out and watch Vulcan get a few dyno runs in(videos at the bottom!!). Vulcan, that car is INSANE!!

Eventually, those of us that were left went for a "spirited" cruise through the countryside. I'm sure some of the regulars here can tell which roads we went on exactly, but man...some straights and some NASTY corners. Gave the Vette a good test run through the twisties trying to keep up with these guys. It was fun till the turns started getting so sharp and twisty with a bit of a downgrade that the Vette was bottoming out and bashing the front end on every other turn. Called it quits after that, and mere moments after...the County Highway Patrol was kind enough to escort us out of the twisty backcountry. :D

Anyway, the pics!

Real nice pics, should have dragged my self out of bed and headed up there. How was the parking at the burger place, that was what I was afraid of.

Horrible parking. A lot of us were parked on a narrow sideroad that ended up turning into a one-way because people were parking on both sides of the road. Plus we kind of caught them by surprise with so many people, had to wait quite a long time to get some food. I think most of us had enough greasy fries to last a lifetime...as they kept bringing those out one after another till the burgers were done. :D

It wasn't too bad though, well worth some minor inconveniences. Can't wait till next time. :nice:

Looks like some of those cars were dug out from the bottom of a cereal box.

Granted, they own almost everything else out on the streets.

Those Supra's are damn impressive. I saw a white Supra with black rims yesterday by Les Schwab in Orchards, very pretty car. That turbo spool gets to me every time. :hail2:

Yea, that was me in the 86.. I really like that car. I drove it around all day Sat. and it was SOO much fun. The only downside was that it got about 3-4 MPG :notnice:

Just thought I would post this too. It is Vulcans dyno:
